Build the right camera view before choosing a model

A dash camera should cover the parts of your driving routine that matter. A front camera records the road ahead. A front and rear configuration adds the view behind the vehicle, while a supported three-channel system can include a cabin camera. We help you compare those layouts before deciding which equipment belongs in your vehicle.

For a personal car, rear coverage may be the main addition to a front camera. For a rideshare or other passenger-carrying vehicle, an interior view may be part of the discussion. We review the intended use, mounting locations, and visibility through the glass rather than assuming every multi-camera kit gives the same result.

The installation also needs to suit the vehicle itself. Large rear windows, a moving hatch, dark tint, a long cabin, and existing windshield equipment can all affect the plan. Give us your year, make, and model when you contact the shop so we can review the practical details with you.

A229 Pro and A329S installation options

The VIOFO A229 Pro and A329S are examples of product families we can discuss, subject to current availability and the configuration that suits your vehicle. The A229 Pro is offered in supported front, rear, and cabin arrangements. The A329S family also includes multiple camera layouts, with a three-channel version using separate front, cabin, and rear cameras.

Naming the model family is only the starting point. Channel count, camera type, cable requirements, and compatible accessories need to be confirmed for the exact kit. We do not assume that a camera or hardwire accessory from one generation can be used with another, or that every feature advertised for a product family applies to every version.

We can help compare camera coverage and the installation requirements of each supported system. Tell us whether you want road footage, rear coverage, interior recording, or a combination, and whether you already own any equipment. We can then discuss appropriate choices and the work involved.

Parking-mode hardwiring with the correct accessories

VIOFO parking recording requires a suitable power arrangement and the appropriate settings for the exact model. We assess a compatible hardwire solution and explain the supported parking functions. A hardwire kit is selected around the camera and vehicle, not simply because its connector looks similar.

For example, VIOFO documents different accessory requirements across product families and versions. The A329S supports parking features that differ from those on an A229 Pro. We check the relevant manufacturer guidance rather than promising the same parking behavior for every VIOFO camera.

Your routine matters too. A camera installed in a frequently driven car has a different power situation from one in a vehicle parked for several days. We ask about driving frequency, typical parking duration, and your priorities before discussing the available power options.

We explain the limits of the selected setup during handover. Parking recording depends on power availability, battery condition, settings, storage, and operating conditions. No installation can promise unlimited recording time from the vehicle battery. Our goal is a setup you understand and can use appropriately for your vehicle.

Cable concealment and a practical customer handover

Front, rear, and cabin cameras create several cable paths that need to work together. We plan camera positions and conceal wiring along suitable vehicle routes, giving attention to trim access, moving hatch areas, and the distance between cameras. The selected cable lengths and accessories need to match that route.

Full cable concealment is the aim, with any unavoidable visible connection at the camera or other vehicle-specific limitation explained in advance. We assess the actual vehicle before promising a particular mounting point or finish. A clean installation should also leave the cameras positioned to record useful views.

Once installed, we configure the supported camera settings and review the views from each channel. We provide guidance on normal operation, reviewing footage, and the parking settings selected for your system. Understanding which camera produced a recording is especially useful with a multi-channel installation.

If you have an existing VIOFO camera, send its model and a list or photograph of the supplied parts before booking. That gives us a chance to identify missing accessories or an unsuitable cable arrangement before the vehicle arrives. We discuss the installation scope and any additional equipment requirements with you first.

Questions about your installation

Do you install customer-supplied VIOFO cameras?

Contact us with the exact model and the parts you have. We review the vehicle, cable requirements, and compatible power accessories before confirming the installation scope and appointment.

Can I have front, rear, and interior recording?

Supported three-channel VIOFO systems provide separate front, rear, and cabin views. We confirm the exact kit and suitable mounting positions for your vehicle rather than assuming every model supports the same arrangement.

Will an A229 Pro and an A329S use the same parking setup?

Not necessarily. Supported parking functions and compatible accessories vary by model and version. We consult the relevant VIOFO guidance and assess the vehicle before recommending hardwiring or configuring parking recording.

Are the A229 Pro and A329S in stock?

Model names on this page are examples only. Contact Elite Audio Hollywood to confirm current product selection, availability, vehicle-specific installation pricing, and appointment options.
